There is no need to ever sharpen it; once dulled, simply replace the cutter. The 20" American Hickory Easy Grip handle and the super wide flat tool bar combine to allow a natural presentation of the cutter at the perfect cutting angle. This makes the normally tedious or difficult-to-make blind cuton the inside of a hollow form something that even a novice can perform.
